DESCRIPTION:Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Join Village in the Valley (ViVa) for our Perfecting Unity Celebration\, on June 8\, 2024\, 6 pm – 11 pm as we kickoff off Juneteenth celebrations in the Rio Grande Valley. \nThe event will take place at Vindor Falls Event Center\, 601 E. Nolana Ave.\, McAllen\, TX. \nLimited sponsorships and tickets are available. Purchase here: https://givebutter.com/vivajuneteenth or access the link in our instabio. \nNet proceeds from the event will benefit ViVa and its Scholarship Fund. \nViVa is a nonprofit organization whose mission is elevating and uniting the black community while connecting cultures in the Rio Grande Valley.
